Review: Stunna June – OTR 930

Oakland triple threat, Tongan Producer/Artist/Vocalist Stunna June has finally released his debut Album “OTR 930” on September 30th, 2016(9/30).

Hailing from 89th, with heavy ties to 90th ave and the 30’s of East Oakland, not to neglect his Island roots, Stunna June has produced an album worthy of being referred to as the “next up” in the Bay Area Rap Scene.

From the Intro “Island” to the Outro/Bonus Song “Doin Me” which is also known as his debut to the Oakland rap scene(Video below), this is for sure a CD to buy for any rap fan. In “Goin’ Up” he gives a look into his feelings about family and the struggle of an artist on the rise.

In this album Stunna June enlist local artist as well as major artist such as Kamaiyah, Hyph, Remedy, Kevin Gates, IamSu! and Killa Fresh to compliment his debut. With the tagline “Stunna June made a hit” on every song, you can not say he does not stay true to his tagline, Stunna June is truly coming soon.

With his melodic island inspired production and songs for the females as well as songs for the streets, Stunna June has created the perfect CD to ride to in whatever mood you may been in.

Don’t take my word for it familiarize yourself with the next up in Oakland and let us know what you think yourself.
